Manitou Mara GEN 1 Inline

Following the launch of the Mara Pro, Manitou released it's slimmed down and XC focused sibling, the Mara. Using crucial tech first shown in the Pro version, the Mara features the same smooth air spring design as well as Manitou's proprietary SKF Internal Floating Piston (IFP) to minimise any initial breakaway stiction. What makes this IFP so special is its utilisation of a flexible membrane and lip seals instead of a rigid disc. This allows the center of the IFP to begin its movement upon compression and rebound before the actual lips of the seal break free increasing initial sensitivity.

Riese & Müller Load 60 or 75 cargo bikes need better suspension.
Shockcraft has a complete (front and rear) suspension upgrade package using a Manitou JUnit fork for the front and Manitou Mara Inline air shock for the rear. A front only suspension upgrade can be purchased by not selecting the Rear Suspension Air Shock & Rear Shock Hardware options.

The full package includes a new fork, new shock, new lower headset, new shock hardware plus:
•   Configuration of the fork and modification to the headset so they bolt straight on.
•   New hub to fit the new fork, to be built into existing wheel using existing rim, spokes and nipples if condition allows.
•   Custom manufactured black anodised aluminium brackets to mount the light & mud guard to the new fork.
