Suspension has the biggest impact on your ride compared to any other component on your bike. It's important to get it right and maintain your suspension for a longer life and better performance.
Good suspension should be stable and supportive while being planted, yet playful. It should follow the ground to maximise traction and comfort, while eating bumps at low and high speed. It needs to stay smooth, controlled and always predictable with no bad habits.
Bike Wanaka is back with their Deans Bank race on 4 November but they've shortened the length from 10 to 6 hours with 3 or 6 hour solo or 6 hour team categories. Every person, every bike, every style and speed is welcome. Just bring a good attitude and be prepared for a tonne of fun.
A few weeks back we Custom Tuned Alex's Fox 36 GRIP2 forks. You might spot him ripping down the Christchurch Adventure Park. Before the tune, we could tell he was a bit skeptical but couldn't see any other good options. Now he's stoked and loving the new ride.
